The perfect way to enjoy a Birthday celebration, Bridal Shower, Christening, Anniversary, intimate Wedding, Retirement party or Wake. We prepare and serve a sumptuous tea so that you can relax with your friends or family. We cater for gluten free and nut free diets.
Jane and Frannie started Nips & Crumpets through their mutual love of baking and presenting food - the quintessential English afternoon tea - inspired by a trip to The Ritz. They are helped by Sam (Frannie’s son) a young adult with Downs Syndrome, previously at Lowestoft College where he obtained a Certificate in Food Studies.
To set the scene we use beautiful vintage tea-sets, in hues of pink, green, yellow, blue and gold laid out on antique tablecloths with napkins and vintage cutlery. We serve you in outfits based on 1950’s patterns.    We cater for sit down full afternoon tea parties for up to 40 people. Our charges for full sit down afternoon tea are £20 per person with a minimum charge of £300. This is an all inclusive price, no additional hire charges for our fine vintage crockery. Other buffet options without set places are possible for large parties, please contact us to discuss your exact requirements. Milage charges may apply for locations outside our locality.
